Teens & tweens get the chance to come learn how to survive the zombie apocalypse! This 2 hour workshop gets everyone involved! Topics include: Basic first aid & first aid kits, emergency "Bug Out Bags", Lost proofing, knots & lashings, emergency shelter construction anywhere, and everybody gets to shoot a real Darryl Dixon (From The Walking Dead TV Series) style cross-bow (with safe, nerf-style ammo)!

Sponsored by a grant from the Berlin Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency.

Thursday 4/10 @ 5pm

Grades 3-5 are welcome to join us to talk about Stowaway by John David Anderson. This Massachusetts Children's Book Award nominee is a coming-of-age space odyssey. Leo and his father must leave everything they have ever known and move on board a spacecraft run by the Coalition. But, when his father is kidnapped it is up to Leo to save him and the rest of the galaxy. We'll discuss the book and have some scratch art fun. Refreshments will be provided.
