This program shows how owls use their specialized powers of sight, hearing and flight to survive and thrive. A wealth of fact and folklore about these masters of the night explains the natural and unnatural history of owls. A variety of live North American owls provides the focus of this presentation.

This program takes place at the 1870 Town Hall. 12 Woodward Ave. Berlin, MA 01503

Sponsored by the Friends of the Berlin Public Library.

Monday 2/10 @ 11am

We’ll read some stories, make some crafts, sing, groove, and play to start our day.

Monday 2/10 @ 4pm

The teen advisory board is made up of teenagers in middle and high school who have a desire to help their community and a love for the library. Work together with your peers to create and run programs and build community.

Tuesday 2/11 @ 2pm

Adults with questions about their personal devices - How do I send emails on my phone? How can I make text messages easier to read? Where do I find ebooks? - can stop in to the library to get one on one help with their questions.

Wednesday 2/12 @ 11:30am

Winter brings grey and chilly weather. Join us at the library for some open-ended play. We have warm comfy seating and plenty of toys. Come relax and socialize in the children's room. Snacks are welcome but will not be provided for this program.

Thursday 2/13 @ 5pm

Grades 3-5 are welcome to join us to talk about James Ponti's newest book, The Sherlock Society. Alex Sherlock, his sister, Zoe, and his friends are looking for ways to make money over the summer when Zoe finds the perfect solution. They decide to open a detective agency. Soon, they are looking for Al Capone's treasure. If you are a fan of Sammy Keyes, Encyclopedia Brown, or Nancy Drew come join us to discuss this thrilling adventure. We will have snacks and logic puzzles to solve.
