The Mass Capoeira crew will come for a performance featuring plenty of opportunities for audience participation. Then, they follow it up with a mini-workshop, allowing children and families to use the instruments and practice traditional Capoeira moves. This workshop culminates in a match for each participant- a dance battle, of sorts, that celebrates this invigorating art form. This program is open to all ages.
Sponsored by in part by a grant from the Berlin Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency.
