Tuesday 2/17 @ 6pm: Mass Capoeira Demonstration & Workshop: Capoeira, pronounced ka-poo-eyh-rah, is a rich Afro-Brazilian tradition that incorporates elements of martial arts, dance, music, and language. The Mass Capoeira crew will come for a performance featuring plenty of opportunities for audience participation. Then, they follow it up with a mini-workshop, allowing children and families to use the instruments and practice traditional Capoeira moves. This workshop culminates in a match for each participant- a dance battle, of sorts, that celebrates this invigorating art form. This program is open to all ages.
Sponsored by in part by a grant from the Berlin Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency.
Thursday 2/19 @ 5pm: KPop Demon Hunters Golden Celebration: Shout out to all Huntrix and Saja Boy's fans. Unleash your inner idol for a golden celebration of the movie KPop Demon Hunters. There will be music, games, crafts, and more!
