What's going on at the Berlin Public Library?

Story Time

Upcoming Programs

Goldfish Swim School and their mascot Bubbles will be stopping by the library and teaching kids about how to stay safe in and around the water this summer. This will be a fun and engaging program with a story and activities, and all kids will receive a water safety goody bag. Registration is required for this program as there is a minimum participation required for the program to run.

As part of our strategic planning process we will be holding a feedback session. This is a chance for all members of the community, whether they use the library or not, to share ideas about their visions of Berlin and the future of the library. We hope you will join us!

Program RESCHEDULED

Please note that we have rescheduled our program “Japanese Folktales and Origami” to avoid conflicting with Berlin’s Special Town Meeting on June 17th. The new program date and time is July 2nd at 3:30pm in the 1870 Town Hall. We hope you will join us to hear Motoko share folktales from Japan and teach us how to do origami!

Summer Reading Book Clubs for Teens and Adults

Registration is open for our summer reading book clubs! Each month this summer, adults and teens will read a book that matches the theme Read, Renew, Repeat, and then we’ll come together to discuss what we thought about the book. Readers can sign up for one month, or for all three. Once you register, we will request a copy of the book on your behalf.

Our summer reading program is running until August 15th. Find more information about how to participate and what the incentives are at berlin.cwmars.org/summerreading.
