Monday 6/29 @ 10am: Storytime: Join Ms. Hadley in the Children's Room on Mondays. We’ll read some stories, make some crafts, sing, groove, and play to start the day. All children are welcome, but storytime is best for ages 0-5.
Monday 6/29 @ 3pm: Little Innovators, Big Dreams: Join local high school students for this exciting STEM workshop! Students ages 7-10 are welcome to come for experiments and science fun.
Tuesday 6/30 @ 12pm: Noontime Tales: Join Ms. Hadley in the Children's Room on Tuesdays. We’ll read some stories, make some crafts, sing, groove, and play in this afternoon extravaganza. All children are welcome, but storytime is best for ages 0-5. This is the last Noontime Tales until September - we’re taking a brief pause during the summer!
Tuesday 6/30 @ 1-3pm: Drop-in Tech Help: Drop by for basic computer navigation, basic smartphone and tablet use, general internet instruction, and how to use electronic library resources (like Libby).
Wednesday 7/1 @ 11am: Español es Divertido: Join Miss Hadley at this program for early elementary school students. Students will gain exposure to beginning vocabulary using music, art, and movement for a playful introduction to the Spanish language. This program is designed for children ages 5-10. Siblings are welcome but must be supervised by their parents/guardians.

Thursday 7/9 @ 1pm: Beaded Succulents: Make a succulent plant that will last forever. Use wire, beads, and creativity to create your own everlasting art piece. Teens ages 13-17 welcome.
Tuesday 7/14 @ 5:30pm: Kinusaiga Fabric Art: Discover the Japanese art of Kinusaiga. This no-sew textile technique involves tucking pieces of fabric into foam board. The result will be unique and colorful works of art that everybody will be able to put their own style into! This program is for ages 16+. Registration required.
Thursday 7/16 @ 4pm: First Chapters Book Club: Children ages 5-9 and their grownups can come discuss their favorite chapter books, make crafts, and explore some exciting activities around each book and genre. We will be discussing Felix Powell, Boy Dog by Erin Entrada Kelly.
Beginning on July 1st, the library will be expanding our hours to include an extra evening hour on Tuesdays and earlier opening on Thursdays. We hope this change makes it even easier for everyone to utilize the library! We will be open Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 10am-7pm; Wednesday and Saturday 10am-1pm.
