Upcoming events and new materials
A reminder that our hours are changing this Monday June 30th. Our new hours will be:
Monday 10am-7pm
Tuesday 10am-6pm
Wednesday 10am-1pm
Thursday 2pm-7pm
Saturday 10am-1pm
Closed on Fridays and Sundays
These changes were necessary to ensure a safe and positive library experience for all patrons and staff, we appreciate your understanding and look forward to seeing you!

Saturday 6/28 @ 2pm: Summer Reading Kickoff: All are welcome. This year's theme is Level Up at Your Library. Try your hand at various games and register for Summer Reading at the same time. Fun and refreshments provided.
Monday 6/30 @ 11am: Storytime: Independence Day: Join Ms. Hadley in the Children's Room on Monday mornings. We’ll read some stories, make some crafts, sing, groove, and play to start our week.
Tuesday 7/1 @ 6pm: Ocean Bubble Necklace: Each student will create a mini ocean bubble with shells and sand inside a glass bubble. Step by step instructions will be given to create this pendant as well as stringing the beaded chain. The class includes all tools, Kit items and step by step instruction to complete this. Led by Sue Underwood. For ages 16+. Space is limited, registration required.
Thursday 7/3 @ 6pm: Community Board Game Night: Get together with a gaming master to learn some new board games. Or, if you want to share one you and your family love, bring it in a box labeled with your name. Everyone is welcome!

Tuesday 7/8 @ 1pm: Obstacle Course: Come and navigate an obstacle course and master new challenges. Run, jump, bend and balance. Get some exercise and have some fun with us. For ages 3-10.
Wednesday 7/9 @ 11am: Good Wins: Active cooperative and competitive games on the lawn with local storyteller Todd Goodwin. For ages 5-10.
Thursday 7/10 @ 5:30pm: Slime Time: Come and make multiple kinds of slime, explore slime science, and experiment with the properties of different types of slime. For ages 6-12.
Tuesday 7/15 @ 2pm: Tie Dye Fun: Come tie dye at the library. We will have t-shirts available and you are welcome to bring your own, prewashed items to dye.
Wednesday 7/16 @ 11am: Card Battle Blast: Bring your Pokémon, Reading Dragons, or Magic Cards. We will also have classic card games and Uno available. Play against your friends and have fun. Kids ages 6-12 welcome.
Thursday 7/17 @ 5:30pm: Cardboard & Lego City: Do you love to construct? This program combines two favorite building materials into one exciting program with a different themed challenge each time. Children ages 5-10 can use either Lego or cardboard, safe tools, and tape to build an innovative creation in this once a month montage of fun.
Monday 7/21 @ 6pm: Picnic & Outdoor Art: This family friendly event will feature various outdoor art stations exploring process art using a variety of mediums. Feel free to bring a picnic dinner and your imagination. We will also feature the musical stylings of Jecky and Bonathan at this event.
Thursday 7/24 @ 5:30pm: Summer Nights Storytime: Join us for a relaxing and educational evening. Come dressed in your pajamas, if you wish. Bring your favorite stuffed friend and a blanket and get cozy. We'll celebrate the arrival of summer by reading summer related stories, making a summertime craft, having a snack, and singing together.
Summer reading officially starts today! Start tracking your reading and completing those Bookopoly challenges! Join us at our Kick Off Party today at 2pm to begin redeeming your progress for raffle tickets and smaller incentives. We can’t wait to see everybody’s progress over the summer! We have some great prizes available including gift cards to local businesses, a signed Jeremy Swayman photo, and a variety of games. Our summer reading program is open to everyone ages 0-99+.
