Craig Harris' 90-minute multimedia and participatory program combines songs, stories, a montage of groundbreaking artists, and guided music-making and offers an unprecedented eye-and-ear-opening look at the Indigenous soundscape.

More than powwow drums and wooden flutes, Indigenous music intersects with rock, blues, jazz, folk music, reggae, hip-hop, classical music, and more. It's what gives America's music its distinct flavor.

Did you know that Don Featherstone, inventor of the iconic pink lawn flamingo, grew up right here in Berlin? We want to celebrate that! Join us to admire our neighbor's creativity, participate in flamingo themed activities, and enjoy some refreshments!

Join us for a relaxing evening story hour for pre-schoolers and elementary schoolers. Come dressed in your pajamas, if you wish. Bring your favorite stuffed friend and a blanket and get cozy. We'll meet Fia, read some stories about firefighting and fire safety, do some yoga and crafts, and wind down for the night. Ages 3-10 are welcome.

This month we will be reading and discussing The Thursday Murder Club by Richard Osman. Copies of the book are available at the library and through Libby. New voices are always welcome in the book club!
