  • Monday 9/22 @ 10am: Storytime: STEM: Join Ms. Hadley in the Children's Room on Monday mornings. We’ll read some stories, make some crafts, sing, groove, and play to start our week.

  • Tuesday 9/23 @ 1pm-3pm: Drop in Tech Help: Drop by for basic computer navigation, basic smartphone and tablet use, general internet instruction, and how to use electronic library resources (like Libby).

  • Thursday 9/25 @ 5:30pm: Pajama Storytime: Apples: Join us for a relaxing and educational evening. Come dressed in your pajamas, if you wish. Bring your favorite stuffed friend and a blanket and get cozy. We'll celebrate fall by reading stories about apples, making a craft, having a snack, and singing together.

  • Thursday 9/25 @ 6:30pm: Thursday Evening Book Club: Join us to discuss The Listeners by Maggie Stiefvater. Copies of the book are available at the library one month before the meeting.

  • Thursday 9/25: Deadline to register for Flamin-Crows decorating

  • Tuesday 9/30: Deadline to submit entries for the Bookmark Design Contest

  • Wednesday 10/1 @ 12:00pm: Lunch and Learn Homeschool Group: Homeschoolers and their families can get together to play and talk. The first sessions theme is "What's New with You? What would you like to learn this year? We will plan next month's theme and talk about future projects and homeschool meetups. Facilitated by our youth services librarian, Hadley Roberts, who was a homeschool parent for many years.

  • Thursday 10/2 @ 6:00pm: Board Game Night: Bring a favorite game to share with new friends, or come ready to learn a new board game. All are welcome at this monthly program!

  • Monday 10/6 @ 5:00pm: Pony Bead Party: A once-a-month meet up where teens will craft with pony beads. Try a new design, make a gift for a friend, or perfect your technique. For middle and high schoolers, 11-17.

  • Tuesday 10/7 @ 6:30pm: Wolf’s Bane and Nightshade: The Botany of Werewolves, Witches and Vampires: The witch's garden is rich with transformative, healing, and deadly plants. And you might be surprised what plants are associated with vampires. Take a romp through the dark side with plant enthusiast Varla Ventura as we explore the history and lore behind some of nature's most chilling botanicals. This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Berlin Public Library and held at 19 Carter.
