Summer Reading Book Clubs for Teens and Adults

Registration is open for our summer reading book clubs! Each month this summer, adults and teens will read a book that matches the theme Read, Renew, Repeat, and then we’ll come together to discuss what we thought about the book. Readers can sign up for one month, or for all three. Once you register, we will request a copy of the book on your behalf.

More information about our summer reading program will be available in the coming weeks. Follow along through the newsletter and at https://berlin.cwmars.org/readingchallenges to stay updated!

Teen Advisory Board

Do you know a teen looking for a volunteer opportunity? The Berlin Public Library is now accepting applications for a Teen Advisory Board. Participating teens will suggest books and other materials to add to our collection and brainstorm teen activities and events, while earning volunteer hours! Applications are available at the library or online here.

Library Closed May 6-7

On Monday May 6 and Tuesday May 7, library staff will be attending a professional development workshop and the library will be closed. No materials will become overdue during these days. We apologize for the inconvenience, but we will be excited to see all of our patrons again on Wednesday May 8!

Donations

The library is currently not accepting book donations. Books left here often have to be recycled because we have very little space to store them currently. Please see below for a list of places that are accepting donations.

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding! We hope to begin accepting donations again in late summer, stay tuned for more details! Again, books left at the library will unfortunately be thrown out, please consider bringing them to a donation site.
