Eclipse Crafts and Presentation

The Berlin Public Library will host Aldrich Astronomy Society (AAS) President Jim Zebrowski for a presentation about solar eclipses.

Didn’t have a chance to make a viewing box? The library will have eclipse glasses available first to attendees of the April 2nd presentation, and then on a first come first serve basis from April 3rd-April 8th.

Baseball Songs and Stories

Ring in the 2024 baseball season with Howie Newman.

Performing a unique, interactive and highly entertaining program, local singer-songwriter (and former sportswriter) Howie Newman will sing baseball songs, offer up baseball trivia and tell stories about his days as a sportswriter on the Red Sox beat. Howie covered baseball for the Patriot Ledger, Lowell Sun, Boston Globe and Lynn Item as well as several other newspapers and magazines.

The show also includes a FREE RAFFLE for a baseball CD and a display of his personal baseball memorabilia.

For additional information about Howie’s baseball shows, visit www.howienewman.com/baseball-show.

A New Catalog Experience is HERE!

Our library catalog, berlin.cwmars.org, has been upgraded to bring you a better online browsing experience. The new catalog’s features include search suggestions, spell check, and grouped records to make finding your next read even easier!

All of your current checkouts and holds will carry over to the new system. When you log in to the new catalog, you will sign in with your pre-existing library card number and PIN/password; if you have any difficulty accessing your account, please contact your library for assistance. Your lists and reading history can be imported from the old catalog once you log in for the first time, but may look different due to the way our content will be displayed in the new catalog.
